Serra da Leba is a 45 minute drive west of Lubango. There is a restaurant, Miradouro da Serra da Leba, which is the only building in Serra da Leba. The owner, who only speaks Portuguese, can offer camping or a room to stay. Bring your own bottles of clean water for drinking and food. The restaurant offers some meals but the closest grocery store is in Lubango.
There are three places to climb, either the valley with the river, the big wall dropping off the plateau, or the in the gorge. You can park in front of Miradouro restaurant and walk to all the crags. For the river valley, it is easier to park closer to the crags along the road. The river valley and gorge mainly consists of single pitch routes with some two pitch routes. The plateau big wall has some long mixed multi pitch routes. The main style of climbing is vert with many cracks and crimps.

Transport options:
1. Car: If driving from the Namibian boarder, it is recommended to cross at the Oshikango/Onjiva boarder as the roads are in better condition than the more western boarder at Calueque that goes along the EN110 road. The drive from Oshikang/Onjiva boarder to Lubango is 15 hours. There are tarred roads but have massive potholes where cars need to drive into opposing traffic lane to avoid the hot holes. It is advised to drive slowly (90km/hour or slower). IMPORTANT NOTE - there are long queues at fuel stations from the Angolan boarder all the way to Luanda. Fill up a tank in Namibia. When crossing the Angolan/Namibian boarder, itis advised to user a fixer (a person who informally assists with the boarder procedure. They will ask for R600-R800 for helping but can be negotiated.
2.Plane: If arriving at Luanda, take note of your arrival and departure airport as there are two airports.
