The crag has shade on some of the routes in the morning, depending on the pillars aspect. This crag can get warm but it is a great place to swim either by the rock pool directly below the crag or higher up the valley by the Mini Waterfall. There are thorny trees, spiky cactuses, and grasses that can prick someone. It is advised to wear clothes that would protect your skin.

Approach
One can park along the road next to an old guard hut or park in front of Miradoura Restaurant and walk along the road to the old guard hut. A kin will direct you down into the valley. Once by the river, walk along the ledge to the left where there cliff forms a roof. Cross the river by stepping along the rocks across the river. Once on the other side of the river, walk down the valley on the sandy path. A rock shelf will appear. Walk along the vegetation side, not close to the river, as there are some large drop offs close to the river. Scramble down on the vegetation side where there is a drop off that is in line with a waterfall. Once down, there is a rock pool with a large boulder. Cross the river where it is shallower, which is just before the next water fall and after the big boulder. Once crossed, you will find the path that ascends to the base of the crag.
The grass has spikes that pricks through netted shoes. Bring closed shoes or sandals. Sandals will not catch the grass spikes. If wearing long pants, bring something that can dry quickly or that you can pull up your legs.
