Key

Known for its scenic beauty, the Kwa-Zulu Natal Midlands stretches from Pietermaritzburg to the Drakensberg. It can be said to be the artists paradise with the Midlands meander, a popular route with various shops, crafts, galleries, food and drink places as well as historical locations (the Nelson Mandela Capture site, Boer war battlefields and strong British and Zulu history), however besides the large plethora of arts and culture the Midlands offers a wide range of outdoor activities from Midmar dam, zip-lining, fishing, horse riding and paragliding.
