Marianne Schwankhart

Marianne is an adventurer at heart with a specialty in mountain exploits. A graduate of the Wits climbing scene of the '90's and early 2000's, she has climbed extensively around the world with trips to the Karakoram, Paine, and Yosemite to name a few. Her vocational passion for photography set up a fusion of skills for the 7 summits, and seven flights project (to paraglide off each of the 7 summits), and after rounding out a career for The Sunday Times as an in-field photographer, Marianne took the next logical step and fused art, photography and gilding into Dragon Tree.

Her adventure resume makes for equal parts admiration and jealousy.
