Overshadowed by the more prominent Western Buttress on it's right, and more accessible and popular Eastern Buttress on it's left, Lower Middle Buttress offers a sense of adventure as it is less frequently visited.
The Lower Middle Buttress is situated directly below the usual parking area.
For most of the climbs, take the path leading down between this and the Eastern Buttress. Carry on down a narrow gap and then turn left (West) to below the rock faces. The routes Roy’s D, Pink Gin andand Gin and Vermouth can be accessed by traversing further around the buttress or by abseiling down directly above them. Rock WorkOrange and Capital F are accessed only by abseil from above
