When facing the reservoir in the further most parking lot, a path leads to the right from the center of the tarmac parking boundary. This takes you upward toward the Northern (city) ridge, crossing over the dirt maintenance road. the path steepens slightly as it ascends the ridge, then veers leftward along the ridge-line (but still ascending). Approximately 60m before the highest visible point on the ridge ahead a cairn indicates a path to the right which will take you onto the Northern aspect of the ridge. Follow this down a small scramble, aver some fallen trees to the cliff edge. Descend to the Crag via a steep gully on your left.
To access Silverminor section, scramble one further gully down on reaching base of Main Crag.
